Former Finance Minister, Sh Pranab Mukherjee, released "Procurement Manual" of SPMCIL (Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Ltd) on 23rd May 2011 at North Block, Central Seceretariat. This Manual has been written by IRILMM under a consultancy. This is a great recognition for the Institute. Click for details.

The Institute (IRILMM), was registered as a society under societies registration act XXI of 1860, on 8th August 1997, to fulfill the long felt need of a national body which would specialize in Logistics and Materials Management in the area of Supply Chain Management in general and Public Sector in particular. The Institute has been founded by professional Supply Chain Managers belonging to the Indian Railways Stores Services (IRSS), with the sole objective of spreading the knowledge in the relevant fields and enabling everyone associated with the Supply Chain Management achieve excellence in the field, with all round efficiency, quality and economy.
